Olivia Menghini is a Long Island-based artist and arts professional, serving artists, galleries, public institutions, and private clients. Menghini’s work has been featured in New York and Long Island galleries, the Museum at FIT, and the International Print Center of New York, among others. She has worked with leading industry galleries, institutions, and artists across Long Island and New York City. From 2021 to 2024, Menghini produced over 150 public programs and events as Public Programs Manager and Executive Assistant at the Parrish Art Museum in Water Mill, NY. In this role, she collaborated with curators, educators, leading contemporary artists, scholars, and prominent cultural leaders to develop engaging programs that interpret collections, exhibitions, and topics important to various community groups. Notable collaborations include Hamptons Jazz Fest, Jazz at Lincoln Center, Hamptons Doc Fest, James Beard Foundation, We Are All Human Foundation, Every Mother Counts Foundation, the Bridgehampton Child Care and Recreational Center, among many others.

Menghini holds a MA in Museum Studies at Johns Hopkins University and a BFA in Fine Art from the Fashion Institute of Technology, SUNY. In 2016, she attended the Instituto Lorenzo de’Medici in Florence as a study abroad student. Her thesis exhibition work in Everything Must Go! (2018) explored a western philosophical narrative toward human rights ethics and the plight of global refugees and displaced persons in modern society. In 2023, Menghini’s graduate capstone was the Cultural Heritage Management seminar in Modena, Italy, for Johns Hopkins University Advanced Academic Programs. The capstone, a 10-day intensive, included onsite meetings with museum, cultural and municipal leaders and presentation on tangible and intangible cultural heritage management in museums, religious sites, state parks, and UNESCO sites.

Menghini has extensive experience in studio practice, drawing, painting, printmaking, and sculpture. As a public servant, Menghini has led design teams for a variety of projects, including murals and large indoor and outdoor displays. Her experience extends to teaching studio art and art history programs for adults, families, teens, and school age children.
